Ingredients

2 cups water
1-inch piece of fresh ginger (sliced)
1 lemon (sliced)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Add sliced ginger and lemon slices to the boiling water.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice and maple syrup if desired.
Strain the tea and discard the ginger and lemon slices.
Serve warm and sip on this soothing citrus tea to boost your immune system and relieve cold symptoms.
