Dr. Cham was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She began her career as a registered nurse in acute medicine at Vancouver General Hospital, then specialized and worked in critical care, IV therapy and PICC teams. She taught as a clinical instructor with the UBC School of Nursing, at hospitals throughout the Lower Mainland. She then returned to school to study naturopathic medicine at CCNM – Boucher Campus. After completing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, she took courses with the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine for prolotherapy and PRP training. She is certified in pharmaceutical prescribing, IV therapy, prolotherapy and PRP, and neural therapy. She has continued to teach IV therapy to health care professionals as the only certified ND member of the Canadian Vascular Access Association. Her passion is helping each person live a healthier, more energetic, and vibrant life.
When not working, Dr. Cham can be found skiing, biking, paddle boarding, or hiking. She serves as a member of the UBC Women’s Hockey Alumni Executive. She has been a Whistler Mountain ski patroller since 2019, and an RCMP Auxiliary member since 2005.
Dr. Cham is completing her two-year residency in Complex Chronic Disease and Naturopathic Oncology under the direction of Dr. Lindsay Adrian. Port Moody Health’s residency program is approved by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME) and American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (ABNO).
